After buying and selling multiple houses, I learned some important skills, including how best to stage a home, and most importantly, that real estate agent experience is not the only priority to consider when selecting an agent – an agent’s willingness to listen and conduct research before making recommendations regarding your goals can make the needed difference.

Plus, there is a lot you can do for yourself to prepare for buying or selling a house-well before engaging an agent. Consider that you know what is most important about your goals. So, I suggest that you start your efforts for buying or selling a house by writing a list in order of importance for what matters to you. Secondly, walk your neighborhood and nearing streets to get a feel for what is happening with the properties in the area.
